Ayurveda

Ayurveda is a traditional medical system that has been practiced in India for over 5,000 years. In Japan, Ayurvedic massage treatments have been attracting attention from many women in recent years.

Ayurveda is based not only on medicine but also on life and philosophy. Furthermore, it is characterized by its emphasis on regimen and diet over disease treatment compared to medicine in other countries.

Ayurvedic system

Ayurveda considers one person to be composed of five elements: sky, wind, fire, water, and earth. If one of these five is not enough, we cannot live. Humans are a combination of these five elements. When specific elements are combined, the ability to create various body functions arises.

In the Ayurvedic system, humans are each composed of a unique ratio of doshas, Beta, Pitta and Kapa. The proportions of the three doshas vary from person to person, and it is the condition of health that this dosha is balanced and there are no unpleasant conditions.

The three doshas are the beta dosha (movement, nerve, circulation, respiration, excretion) formed by the combination of sky and wind, the pitta dosha (conversion and metabolism) formed by the combination of fire and water elements, Kapa Dosha (growth) formed from a combination of water and earth elements. When the three doshas are balanced, their original health and vitality are demonstrated, and when the balance is lost, mental and physical health problems occur.

The treatment of Ayurveda is to reconstruct the balance of each dosha by diagnosing this imbalance and adjusting the diet, lifestyle, attitude, behavior and environment.
