YOGA

Yoga is a treatment for both body and mind, and the history of yoga begins with the Indus civilization.

Yoga comes from Sanskrit, meaning to fit together, and each pose is combined with deep breathing and meditation. According to Yoga Sutra's author Patanjali, there is a pathway called Nadi and a center called Chakra in the body, and by acting on these pathways and chakras, hidden energy in the body is released. This energy is called Kundalini.

For yoga sutra, Yama (forbidden), Niyama (advisory), Asana (posture), Pranayama (air temperament), Pratuyahara (control), Darana (concentration), Dyana (meditation), Samadhi There are descriptions of the eight stages, and it is said that deeper mental unity can be achieved by implementing these practices in stages.

To gain the benefits of yoga, three things are important: asana (posture method), pranayama (air conditioning method), and yoga nidra (meditation method).

Asana (posture method)
There are many types of asana, but in any pose, you take a slow and deep breath, and it works by combining your breathing and body movements. Regular practice of asana can promote blood circulation and increase muscle, skeletal, and visceral functions. By eliminating any clogs in the body, the flow of mental energy is harmonized, leading to mental stability and calmness.

Pranayama (air conditioning)
Pranayama is a way to re-educate your normal breathing technique. Using it to the lower part of the lungs and breathing deeply will relax the body and relax the mind. In addition, increasing the amount of oxygen in the brain has the effect of refreshing your head and increasing your intelligence and memory.

Yoga Nidra (meditation)
Yoga Nidra is a form of meditation. It is performed while lying on its back, creating a relaxed state close to sleep, releasing the tension of the mind, removing the tension and illness of the body, and giving a sense of health.

Yoga experience model course

We also plan and arrange tours where you can experience authentic yoga that originated in India.

Rishikesh, the sacred place for yoga, is also famous as the place where the Beatles visited. There are many yoga ashrams in Rishikesh, and many people are straying along the banks of the Ganges. In between the yoga, you can enjoy the “Indian” atmosphere, such as seeing the clear and beautiful Ganges river and strolling through the town of Rishikesh.

There is a Japanese guide from Delhi arrival to departure (except during the ashram stay), so don't worry if you are new to India. If you wish, you will be provided with a Japanese guide and a private car during your stay. We also respond to requests such as wanting to extend your stay or go to another location, so please feel free to contact us.
