NOTES ON TRAVELING TO japan (LOCAL TRAVEL)

We explain in detail about traveling in Japan.
Japan's Infrastructure

Not only is Japan’s infrastructure the culmination of decades of development of the country’s highly advanced technologies, it also embodies being considerate and sensitive to other people’s needs so as not to cause any inconvenience to others. Japan's Infrastructure represent important Japanese concepts such as “Kikubari".

Japan’s Railway Infrastructure

Japan has managed to introduce its local train more than 100 years ago. In Tokyo if you have time to ride Ginza Line, Yamamoto Line, you would experience the kind of punctuality Japan has maintained. With neat and bright trains, you feel the courtesy of Japanese people. In India people are hungry to grab the seats, but here in Japan natives have patience to stand and don’t rush or push to grab the seats. There is no noise pollution and Japanese are very sensitive as not to talk on phone. (Loud voice is prohibited in trains)

Bus: If you can read the directions and your destination buses can also be used but will take a long route, so be careful of timings.

LONG DISTANCE TRAVEL:

Japan made its SUPER FAST TRAINS Called SHINKANSEN (Bullet Trains) Shinkansen Trains are praised all over the world for its courtesy services and cleanness. Between the arrival and departure of a train, dedicated workers clean the train in just 7 minutes. Once the train stops workers would bow and welcome the Shinkansen train and its passengers. They then enter the train cars and wipe down the tray tables, collect the trash, sweep the floor, adjust the seats, pick up any forgotten items, then finally leave the train and bow again, all in just 7 minutes. Through this seven-minute miracle, witness Japanese workers’ dedication to their work.

Shinkansen Train are of 3 kinds, Kodama, Hikari, Nozomi. So, for long distances these are the best options. Check your destinations accordingly before you use any of them. Kodama stops at many stations. Hikari stops at some stations and Nozomi stops at limited stations.
Japan Trains is punctual, safe and reliable. So, reach before time.

Taxis: Outside every big or small there are Taxi stand line up ln queue. Passengers also line up to board the Taxis. These are also very neat and courtesies. Be careful to pay in cash Japanese yen only. These taxi companies don’t accept any other foreign currency. In some taxis there are services to pay by credit cards, but again your cards are compatible or not to be used in foreign countries are our problem and not taxi companies. So, it is advisable to use Japanese Yen in cash to pay.

Domestic Flight

There are many LCC (Low-cost carriers) airlines all over the country. So, flying to major destinations nearest airports can be used.

Sleeper train

There is no Sleeper Trains, as being the Shinkansen, which covers long distances in bullet speed. There are only a few sectors and destinations for sleeper trains. Mostly these are not so much used as most of the destinations are covered by bullet trains.,
