A tour of Western Bhutan.

Visit Paro, the only airport in Bhutan, Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan, and Punakha, once the winter capital of Bhutan. There are many highlights such as historical buildings, cityscapes in mountain valleys, idyllic countryside, and white snow-covered Himalayas from Dochu La Pass on the way from Thimphu to Punakha.

Aircraft Private Car Transfer from Narita to Paro by air and Bangkok. After arriving at Paro, take a private car to Thimphu (about 2 hours each way). City tour after wearing Thimphu. Memorial Chorten, where many colorful Buddhist paintings and statues are housed, a paper suki factory (made using techniques similar to Japanese paper) where you can see paper sashimi demonstrations, and Tashicho Dzong, the national government office. Dinner in the evening while watching Bhutanese folk dances

Dedicated Car After breakfast, take a day trip to Punakha, once the winter capital of Bhutan (travel distance 179km, journey about 3 hours one way). On the way, take a break at the observation platform Dochu La Pass in the Himalayas. * If the weather is fine, you can see the Himalayas. Visit Punakha Dzong, a large temple at the confluence of Po Chu (Honagawa) and Mo Chu (Mother River). On the way, you can see a peaceful rural landscape. Visit Po Chi (Chiba) and Mo Chu (Mother River) and hike to Chimi Lakhan on a small hill overlooking the paddy field. Visit Wondy Podan Zong, famous for its unique landscape, on a cliff. After the tour, return to Thimphu.

Dedicated Car After breakfast, go to Paro (2 hours each way). Sightseeing after arriving at Paro Visit Nishioka Chorten, built to commemorate Kyoharu Nishioka, who contributed to the development of agriculture, the National Museum that was once used as a lookout, and the largest paloson in Bhutan. * You can also experience Bhutan's national archery.

Day 4 Paro Dedicated Car After breakfast, visit Tak Tsang Monastery built on a steep cliff. Hiking (approximately 3 hours) to the monastery. Lunch is at the first observatory. On your way back to Paro, you will visit Kithu Lakan, the first temple in Bhutan and one of Bhutan's premier temples. * You can try the Bhutan-style stone-grilled bath “Dozo” and try on traditional costumes “Go” and “Kira”.
