Sikkim is home to many Tibetan ethnic groups and has many Tibetan monasteries called gompas. Rumtech will visit Sikkim's largest monastery, Rumtek Gompa. In the provincial capital of Gangtok, you can see the spectacular view of the Himalayas from the observation deck. In the background of the towering mountains in Yumtan, alpine plants such as yak herds, rotodendron, primula and rhododendrons from April to May, and blue poppies called “phantom flowers” from late June to late July You can see it.
In Darjeeling, we will board the steam train toy train of Darjeeling Himalaya Railway, which was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1999. Take a stroll through the Danbar Chowk where you can find Tibetan gems and arts and crafts shops. On the way, we visited Lumtek Gompa, the largest Tibetan temple in Sikkim. *Precautions for entering Sikkim State In
addition to Indian visas, foreign tourists need an entrance permit called “Inner Line Permit” when visiting Sikkim State.
