Nepal Travel Precautions Precaution 4 (Local)

We will explain in detail about things you should be aware of when traveling in Nepal (transportation).
Transportation in the city

Urban transportation includes taxis, auto rickshaws, cycle rickshaws and buses. Taxi bodies come in a variety of colors such as white, red, and green, but taxi licenses are metered taxis that have a black license plate. Malicious taxis may be crafted to raise the meter faster than usual, so be careful not to keep an eye on the meter. Please negotiate before boarding for long distances such as from the airport to the city.
When using a rickshaw, foreigners may be offered higher fees, so be sure to negotiate before riding. The main public transport in Nepal is the bus. There are local buses that connect short distances to the bus, express buses that are convenient for long-distance travel, and microbuses that operate from various locations in the city to the suburbs. However, it may be inconvenient for those who want to move smoothly because it is very crowded and traffic is heavy.
Kathmandu also offers rental bicycles and motorbikes. However, be careful of accidents with cars or motorcycles in places with heavy traffic. It is useful to have a mask to prevent dust and exhaust gases.

Domestic flights

There are several Buddha Air, Yeti Airlines and other airlines in Nepal. Although fares are much more expensive than buses and other means of transportation, it is effective for those traveling in Nepal on a tight schedule. Tickets can be arranged at local travel agencies and hotels. Payment can be made in credit card, US dollar foreign currency or yen. We can also arrange Nepal domestic flights. Bus

Buses are the main means of travel for long distances. Reservation is required to board the bus, but it can be purchased at a local travel agency or at the ticket office of the bus terminal. A microbus is more comfortable than an express bus and basically does not drop passengers on the way, so it is convenient to arrive at a destination relatively quickly.
